INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

Position: Junior Industrial Engineer / Industrial Engineering Trainee

Location: Malur, Karnataka

Experience: Freshers / 0-1 year

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Industrial Engineering / Production Engineering / Mechanical Engineering

Job Purpose

Support manufacturing productivity and process improvement through time study, motion study, work measurement, manpower analysis, and basic industrial engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct time studies and motion studies for shop-floor operations.
2. Measure cycle time and establish standard time for operations.
3. Identify unnecessary movements, bottlenecks and productivity losses.
4. Support manpower calculation, line balancing and capacity studies.
5. Collect and analyse production data using MS Excel.




6. Support process improvement, 5S, Kaizen and productivity improvement activities.
7. Prepare basic IE reports and maintain time-study records.
8. Work closely with Production, Quality and other shop-floor teams.

Required Skills

1. Basic understanding of Industrial Engineering concepts.
2. Knowledge of Time Study and Motion Study.
3. Positive observation and analytical skills.
4. Basic MS Excel knowledge.
5. Willingness to work on the shop floor and learn manufacturing processes.
6. Good communication and teamwork.
7. PLC Programming
