Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Engineer role based at the Khopoli location.

The Junior

Engineer will assist in daily plant operations, including monitoring production processes, collecting and analyzing operational data, and supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include working closely with senior engineers and supervisors on process improvements, quality checks, and troubleshooting equipment issues to ensure smooth and secure functioning of the production line. The role also involves documenting technical findings, following standard operating procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as quality, maintenance, and safety for continuous improvement initiatives.



Candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial environment, learning new systems and tools, and contributing to both routine tasks and project-based assignments.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of basic engineering principles in mechanical, electrical, or production engineering, with the ability to apply them in a plant environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process diagrams, and equipment manuals; familiarity with standard industrial tools and measurement instruments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues in production processes and support data-driven solutions.
- Comfort with using computer-based systems for reporting, data entry, and documentation; basic knowledge of MS Office or similar tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, operators, and supervisors on the shop floor.
- Demonstrated focus on safety, quality, and adherence to standard operating procedures in an industrial or internship setting.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, Production, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in manufacturing, steel, or heavy industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
