Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Inspector to oversee the inspection, testing, and compliance of our industrial cleaning machineries. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electro-mechanical assemblies, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and finished machines meet strict internal quality metrics, customer expectations, and international safety standards. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to identify defects, isolate non-conforming parts, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Inspection & Testing

- In-Process & Final Testing: Conduct rigorous mechanical, electrical, and functional performance testing on finished cleaning machinery (e.g., pressure output, water flow rate, vacuum suction metrics, battery/motor efficiency).
- Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, and CAD models to verify tolerances, Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) dimensions, and proper assembly.
- Dimensional Checks: Utilize precise measuring tools—including calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and multimeters—to confirm incoming components and fabricated parts meet exact design specifications.
- Safety & Compliance Verification: Inspect high-pressure seals, leak-proof integrity (hydraulic/pneumatic fluid lines), insulation resistance, and grounding systems to ensure compliance with relevant industry safety regulations.

2. Non-Conformance & Defect Management

- Material Isolation: Immediately flag, log, and isolate defective parts or finished products using standard quarantine procedures to prevent downstream errors.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead or assist in structured problem-solving investigations (using tools like Ishikawa/Fishbone diagrams or 5 Whys) when recurring structural or electro-mechanical issues emerge during assembly.
- Corrective Actions:

Collaborate with production supervisors to implement immediate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate defects on the line.

3. Documentation & Audits

- Detailed Reporting: Compile and submit comprehensive inspection logs, checklists, and photo-documented defect reports to the Quality Manager within established time frames.
- Batch Traceability: Manage batch testing records using statistical quality control protocols to track performance data over time.
- Process Audits: Actively participate in internal quality audits and monitor shop-floor operations to ensure standard work instructions are followed accurately.

Job Specifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline. [1]
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of dedicated experience in quality control, quality assurance, or testing within an industrial machinery manufacturing workplace. Prior experience with electro-mechanical pumps, motors, or high-pressure systems is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and statistical sampling methods (e.g., AQL levels).
- Proficiency in handling diagnostic instruments: digital multimeters, pressure gauges, flow meters, and torque wrenches.
- Familiarity with component sealing techniques, IP ratings (ingress protection for water/dust), and high-voltage safety practices.
- Competence in data entry and analysis using Microsoft Excel or specialized ERP/Quality management software.

Physical & Personal Attributes

- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, acute attention to detail, and independent analytical reasoning.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across design engineering and assembly floor departments.
- Ability to stand for extended durations on the manufacturing floor and lift assemblies weighing up to 15–20 kg when necessary.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Benefits

- Commuter assistance
- Provident Fund

Work Location: In person
