Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and technically skilled Junior DOP to support our production team in planning and executing high-quality video shoots. The candidate will be responsible for camera operations, lighting, framing, composition, and assisting in creating professional visual content for digital marketing, corporate films, social media, school/education campaigns, interviews, events, and promotional videos.

Key Responsibilities

● Operate professional cameras and related filming equipment during shoots.

● Assist the senior DOP/Director in planning shots, camera angles, framing, and compositions.

● Set up and manage cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, lights, and other production equipment.

● Handle basic lighting setups according to the mood and requirements of the shoot.

● Ensure proper exposure, focus, white balance, and image quality.

● Assist with indoor and outdoor shoots, interviews, events, podcasts, promotional videos, and corporate films.

● Coordinate with creative, production, video-editing, and marketing teams.

● Maintain and safely handle cameras, lenses, lights, microphones, and other equipment.

● Check equipment before and after every shoot.

● Assist in creating visually engaging content for social media platforms.

● Travel to client locations and shooting sites whenever required.

● Follow production timelines and complete assigned shoots efficiently.

● Stay updated with new camera techniques, cinematography trends,



and production equipment.

Required Skills

● Basic to good knowledge of cinematography and camera operations.

● Understanding of ISO, shutter speed, aperture, frame rate, and white balance.

● Knowledge of lighting and composition.

● Basic knowledge of different lenses and their applications.

● Experience with DSLR/Mirrorless/Professional Cinema Cameras.

● Basic knowledge of gimbal and tripod operations.

● Positive visual sense and attention to detail.

● Creative mindset with an eye for framing and storytelling.

● Good communication and teamwork skills.

● Energetic, punctual, responsible, and willing to learn.

● Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing shoot requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

● Diploma/Degree in Film Making, Mass Communication, Photography, Media Production, or a related field.

● 0–2 years of relevant experience in videography/cinematography.

● Freshers with strong practical knowledge and a good portfolio may also apply.

Additional Requirements

● Flexibility to work according to production schedules.

● A portfolio/showreel of previous work will be an added advantage.

● Knowledge of basic video editing will be an advantage.
