We're looking for a Business Analyst who can also run business operations: someone who keeps every project visible, spots problems before they escalate, and turns messy on-ground reality into clear reports and well-structured documents.

This is a multiple-hats role in a lean team. On a given day you might write a PRD in the morning, chase field updates at noon, and send a crisp status note to leadership by evening. If you like variety, ownership and seeing the direct impact of your work, you'll enjoy it here.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process analysis and bottleneck identification

- Map current ("as-is") processes across projects (field operations, installations, consumer onboarding, vendor and agency coordination, product workflows) and design improved ("to-be") versions.
- Use data and team feedback to identify bottlenecks, delays, drop-offs and inefficiencies, and flag them early with root-cause analysis and practical recommendations.
- Track whether the fixes worked, using before/after metrics.

2. Project reporting and stakeholder visibility

- Own the reporting cadence for each project: daily trackers, weekly status reports and fortnightly/bi-monthly reviews for internal leadership and external partners where needed.
- Build and maintain dashboards and MIS showing progress against targets, funnel and conversion metrics, risks, issues and next steps.
- Standardize report formats across projects so leadership can compare progress at a glance.
- Prepare presentation decks and summary notes for senior management, partner and client reviews.

3. Day-to-day operations support

- Act as the operational anchor for the team: collect daily updates from project, field and product teams, follow up on pending actions, and close the loop.
- Consolidate updates into a single "bird's-eye" view for stakeholders, highlighting what's on track, what's at risk, and where decisions are needed.
- Maintain trackers for tasks, issues, inventory,

vendors and timelines, and keep them accurate and current.
- Coordinate across internal teams, agencies, vendors and partners so work doesn't fall through the cracks.
- Schedule and run review meetings, and document minutes, decisions and action items.

4. Business and product documentation

- Prepare structured documents, including:
- BRD
- PRD
- SRS
- SOPs, process flow diagrams, user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria
- Project plans, proposals, concept notes and internal policy documents
- Gather requirements through stakeholder discussions and workshops and translate business needs into clear specifications that tech and design teams can build from.
- Support UAT (user acceptance testing) and validate that delivered features meet documented requirements.
- Maintain version control and a single source of truth for all project documentation.

5. Wearing multiple hats

- Take on ad-hoc analysis, research (market, competitor, policy/regulatory) and special projects as business needs change.
- Step in wherever the team needs support, from data cleanup to vendor follow-ups to preparing a last-minute leadership brief.
- Help build internal systems, templates and tools that make the team more efficient as we scale.

What We're Looking For Must-have

- [1–3] years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Operations Analyst, Project/Program Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience writing BRDs, PRDs and/or SRS documents. Please share samples (with sensitive details removed) if possible.

- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivots, lookups, dashboards), plus PowerPoint/Google Slides.
- Structured thinking: the ability to break a messy problem into clear components and find the real bottleneck.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Hindi is strongly preferred for coordinating with field teams and local stakeholders.
- High ownership and follow-through. You chase updates without being chased yourself.
- Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a startup environment.

Positive to have

- Exposure to the energy, power, utilities, cleantech or IoT sectors (e.g., DISCOM projects, solar).
- Experience with field operations or on-ground deployment projects.
- Familiarity with process-mapping tools and project-management tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI or similar tools.
- Experience working with government bodies, PSUs or regulated sectors.
- MBA or an engineering degree is a plus but not mandatory. We care more about demonstrated ability.

Success in the First 90 Days Looks Like

- A standardized weekly reporting format live across all active projects.
- A single consolidated status view that leadership uses to track progress.
- At least one documented process with bottlenecks identified and fixes proposed.
- At least one BRD or PRD delivered for an ongoing product or project initiative.

Why Join Us

- Work on real energy-transition projects with measurable on-ground impact.
- The backing of a global energy-tech group, with the pace and ownership of a startup.
- Direct exposure to leadership, utilities, regulators and product building.
- Fast learning across strategy, operations, product and policy.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year

Benefits

- Flexible schedule
- Work from home

Experience:
- Business analysis: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Noida, Uttar Pradesh
