Role Description This is a full-time, in office Junior Architect role based in Chennai.

The Junior

Architect will support senior designers and project leads in developing architectural concepts, preparing layout plans, and translating client requirements into functional and visually compelling interior spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating CAD drawings, 3D models, and presentation boards; assisting with material selection, specifications, and documentation; and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure design intent is executed. The role also involves site visits, basic measurements, progress checks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address design adjustments during execution.

The Junior





Architect is expected to stay informed about current design trends, materials, and technology relevant to residential and interior projects.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop functional and aesthetic interior layouts.
- Familiarity with software development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, digital workflows, or smart-home/technology-enabled interiors.
- Basic project management abilities, including task prioritization, time management, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, MS Office).
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior architecture, or a related field.
- Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and document client requirements clearly.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai, conduct regular site visits, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- A previous internship or 0–2 years of experience in architecture or interior design is preferred, especially in residential projects.
