Junior Accountant or Fresher with Tally Software Expertise

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Accountant or Fresher with a good understanding of accounting principles and expertise in Tally software to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bookkeeping: Maintain and update financial records in Tally, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Data Entry: Input data related to invoices, transactions, and other financial documents into the Tally software.
- Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements, ledgers, and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Taxation Support: Help with GST calculations and filing, as well as VAT and other indirect tax-related tasks.
- Invoice Generation: Create and manage customer and vendor invoices within Tally.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, trial balances, and other financial statements.
- Expense Tracking: Assist in tracking and reporting company expenses and ensuring proper documentation.
- Filing & Documentation: Maintain organized financial records and assist in audits and other compliance-related tasks.

Required Skills:

- Tally Software:



Proficient in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime for accounting and financial reporting.
- Basic Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of general accounting principles (debits, credits, journal entries).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication to interact with team members and other departments.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve basic accounting errors or discrepancies.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Freshers (0-1 year) with knowledge of Tally software are welcome to apply.

Preferred Skills:

- Basic knowledge of GST, VAT, or other taxation concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
