Role Description The Junior Accountant will support the finance team with daily accounting operations in a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad.

Responsibilities include recording and reconciling financial transactions, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate ledgers and documentation. The role involves preparing basic financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and helping ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.





The Junior

Accountant will also assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders such as vendors and auditors. This position offers opportunities to learn and grow within a structured, professional environment.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in basic accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel for data entry, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records and documentation.
- Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and collaborate in a structured team environment.
- Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance is an advantage.
- Interest in working within a manufacturing, engineering, or lighting solutions industry setting.
