Role Description The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling bank and vendor statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and helping compile financial reports and documentation. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate billing, expense tracking,



and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Manajinagar, Narhe, PUNE.

Qualifications

- Foundational accounting skills, including general ledger maintenance, journal entry preparation, and basic financial reporting.
- Competence with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, invoice handling, and bank or vendor reconciliations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software; comfort working with data and numerical details.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
- Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with vendors, customers, CA office and staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant internships or entry-level accounting experience are an advantage.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and local tax or compliance requirements; willingness to learn and adopt recent tools and processes.
