About the Role

We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to own the sourcing and supplier side of our electronics product lines, from concept to vendor selection, sampling, production and delivery. You will work independently, think analytically, and follow up on every open item until it is closed. The role covers both new product development and ongoing supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Supplier Management

- Identify, evaluate and onboard manufacturers and suppliers in India and overseas for electronics products and components.
- Build and maintain a supplier database with capabilities, MOQs, pricing, lead times, certifications and performance ratings.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, tooling costs and lead times to achieve the best total cost of ownership.
- Develop backup and alternate suppliers to reduce supply risk.

Product Development Support

- Work with the product and design teams to convert product concepts and specifications into manufacturable products.
- Handle RFQs, BOM review, cost breakdowns, samples, prototypes and pre-production approvals.
- Coordinate tooling, engineering changes and design-for-manufacturing feedback with suppliers.
- Ensure products meet required standards and certifications (BIS, CE, RoHS, BEE, etc., as applicable).

End-to-End Follow-up

- Track every order from PO to delivery: production status, quality checks, packaging, shipping and inbound receipt.
- Maintain a live tracker of open sourcing tasks, samples, POs and deadlines, and follow up proactively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Coordinate pre-shipment inspections and resolve quality issues, rejections and claims with suppliers.
- Work with logistics and finance teams on freight, customs, import documentation and payments.

Analysis & Reporting

- Run cost analysis,



supplier comparisons, price benchmarking and savings tracking using Excel and AI tools.
- Monitor component price trends, lead times and market conditions, and flag risks early.
- Report weekly on sourcing status, costs, delays and risks.

Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain, good to have at least 3 years in electronics or consumer electronics.
- Proven experience in both new product development sourcing and repeat-order sourcing.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCBs, batteries, plastics, injection moulding and assembly processes.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, cost models, dashboards).
- Hands-on use of AI tools for research, analysis, supplier communication and automation.
- Strong analytical thinking and a data-driven approach to negotiation and decisions.
- Excellent follow-up discipline, with the ability to keep multiple suppliers and orders on track at once.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and take full ownership of outcomes.
- Good communication and negotiation skills; comfortable dealing with overseas suppliers.

Valuable to Have
- Experience importing from China and handling customs and import documentation.
- Familiarity with sourcing platforms such as Alibaba, IndiaMART, Made-in-China and component distributors.
- Knowledge of quality systems, AQL inspection and factory audits.
- Experience with ERP or inventory tools and basic Python or automation skills.
- Experience with D2C or e-commerce brands.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
