Isiri Technologies INC is looking for experienced Java Data Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in both Java application development and Data Engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Apache Spark using Java, SQL, and data-processing pipelines.

The role involves developing and maintaining Java/Spring Boot applications, implementing Spark-based data processing and transformation logic, integrating with Elasticsearch/ELK, databases and APIs, and troubleshooting and optimizing applications and data pipelines.

Strong hands-on coding and problem-solving skills are essential. Application or solution design expertise is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

1. Java & Spring Boot Development

- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable and maintainable backend applications.
- Develop REST APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable Java code.
- Troubleshoot application issues and implement appropriate fixes.
- Perform debugging, unit testing, and performance optimization.
- Data Engineering & Apache Spark
- Develop data-processing solutions using Apache Spark with Java.
- Build and maintain data-processing and transformation pipelines.
- Implement data transformation, cleansing, and processing logic.
- Work with large datasets and optimize Spark-based processing jobs.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and performance issues.




- Ensure data-processing solutions are reliable and efficient.
- REST APIs & Microservices
- Design and develop REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Integrate applications with internal and external APIs.
- Implement API-based data exchange and processing.
- Troubleshoot API integration and service-related issues.
- Support existing microservices and enhance them based on business requirements.

4. SQL & Database Integration

- Write and optimize SQL queries for data processing and application requirements.
- Work with databases for data extraction, transformation, and integration.
- Develop data-processing logic involving multiple data sources.
- Troubleshoot database and data-access issues.
- Optimize database interactions and application performance.

Experience & Qualifications

- 9–12 years of experience in software development and/or data engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering and Apache Spark using Java.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong SQL and data-processing skills.
- Experience building and maintaining data-processing pipelines.
- Experience integrating applications with Elasticsearch/ELK, databases, and APIs.
- Strong debugging, unit testing, coding, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with performance optimization and production support.
- Exposure to Git, build tools, and CI/CD.
- GKE/GCP, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and Docker knowledge is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of GenAI, RAG, LLM integration, or Agentic AI is an added advantage.
