We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with excellent proficiency in CATIA V5 to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and refining high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings, applying strong engineering fundamentals to support innovative mechanical design solutions.

Key Responsibilities• Develop and refine detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5 for mechanical components and assemblies.

• Apply engineering principles to design, analyze, and troubleshoot mechanical systems.

• Select appropriate materials and fasteners for new product designs, factoring in manufacturing processes, load-bearing requirements, and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, effectively communicating design concepts, updates, and technical details.

• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), technical reports, and revision histories.

• Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and performance standards.





• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications• Mechanical Engineering graduate (Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field).

• Minimum of 5 years and up to 15 years of relevant industry experience in Mechanical design and CAD modeling.

• Excellent proficiency in CATIA V5 CAD software for both 3D modeling and 2D drafting.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, or sheet metal fabrication.

• Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., ENOVIA, Teamcenter) and BOM management.

• Hands-on experience with prototype development and testing.

• Robust understanding of engineering fundamentals such as mechanical design principles, tolerances, and GD&T.;

• Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical components and assemblies.

• Experience in selecting materials and fasteners for mechanical product designs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Nice to Have• Aerospace Interiors Design Engineer background or experience.
