Project Engineer serves as the primary technical focal point for the delivery of engineering work products for Lavatories and Galleys. You are responsible for leading the engineering team to successfully achieve all technical and program requirements. This role is critical in ensuring comprehensive technical integration between the engineering group and all internal and external stakeholders to meet organizational goals across three distinct Business Units.

Core Responsibilities

- Customer Technical Focal: Act as the primary engineering liaison for the customer, managing all technical inquiries, design reviews, and engineering deliverables for Lavatory and Galley programs.
- Proactive Input Management: Identify and proactively communicate any missing technical inputs or data requirements to the customer early in the project lifecycle to ensure on-time engineering delivery and avoid program delays.
- Technical Documentation: Manage the creation and approval of key engineering data, including Technical Specifications, Test Plans, Test Reports, and compliance reports,



ensuring all required documentation meets aerospace and customer standards.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Coordinate between Mechanical, Electrical, Stress, Systems, flammability and technical publication teams to ensure seamless technical alignment and on-time delivery.
- Work Scope Management: Proactively identify, document, and communicate any out-of-scope technical requirements or shifts in the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Technical Risk Management: Anticipate potential technical bottlenecks and integration risks; develop and implement strategic workarounds to ensure project momentum and design continuity.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience: Total 5+ years of direct engineering experience, with a dedicated focus on Aircraft Interiors.
- Technical Edge: Prior experience in Aircraft Interior Commodities (specifically monuments, galleys, or lavatories) is a significant advantage and highly preferred for this level.
- Software Proficiency: Knowledge of 3D modelling software, such as CATIA, is considered a strong plus.
- Communication: Exceptional qualified verbal and written communication skills, with a high degree of proactiveness in managing customer data exchanges and presenting technical information to senior management.
- Language Plus: Proficiency in Japanese is a plus to facilitate technical collaboration with international partners and stakeholders.
