Designation:

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop finite element models of composite components and structures using ANSYS Mechanical.
- Define composite plies, material orientations, stacking sequences, laminate layups, and material properties in ANSYS ACP.
- Perform structural analysis including static, stiffness, buckling, modal, vibration, and deformation assessments.
- Apply appropriate loads, boundary conditions, contacts, and connections for simulation studies.
- Analyze composite structures subjected to tensile, compressive, bending, and shear loads.
- Evaluate composite failure using standard failure criteria and identify critical plies and failure locations.
- Execute complete ANSYS ACP workflows including ACP Pre, ANSYS Mechanical, and ACP Post.
- Generate and interpret stress, strain, deformation, and failure index results.
- Develop shell and solid meshes and perform mesh quality and convergence studies.
- Review simulation results against design requirements and engineering allowable.
- Provide technical recommendations for design improvements based on analysis findings.
- Prepare detailed CAE reports covering methodology, assumptions, results, and conclusions.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to support product development activities.
- Support correlation of analysis results with testing and design requirements.
- Continuously learn and apply advanced composite analysis methodologies and ANSYS capabilities.

Skill & Experience Required:

- 0 to 2 years of experience in CAE, FEA, Structural Analysis, or Composite Engineering.




- BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Aerospace, Production, or related Engineering disciplines.
- Robust fundamentals in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Structural Mechanics.
- Good understanding of Stress-Strain relationships, Strength of Materials, and Mechanics of Materials.
- Knowledge of composite materials, laminate theory, and composite structural behavior.
- Working knowledge of ANSYS Mechanical.
- Exposure to ANSYS ACP through academic projects, internships, or industry assignments.
- Understanding of CFRP, GFRP, and sandwich composite structures.
- Knowledge of meshing techniques, contacts, boundary conditions, and post-processing.
- Familiarity with CAD geometry preparation for FEA studies.
- Understanding of composite failure evaluation methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design requirements.
- Good technical documentation and report-writing skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Willingness to learn advanced composite simulation and analysis methodologies.
