Role & responsibilities To provide ITI fitter Apprentices with hands on industrial exposure, enabling them to bridge the gap between technical education and real-world workplace requirements.
Key Learning and Responsibilities ( Mechanical Fitter):
- Learn and support basic mechanical maintenance activities.
- Assist in assembly, dismantling and fitting of mechanical components.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and measurements.
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments under supervision.
- Supporting onboarding and exit formalities of contractual employees.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Learn basic trouble shooting of mechanical equipments.
- Maintain Safety at high standards and workplace cleanliness
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements and work instructions.
- Maintain basic maintenance records and checklists.
- Work closely with experienced technicians and maintenance engineers.
