IT Manager – Healthcare / Diagnostic Operations

Location: Varanasi | Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager who understands both IT systems and healthcare/ diagnostic operations.

This is an significant role for someone who can take ownership of the complete IT environment across diagnostic centres and build a stable, secure and technology-driven IT setup.

What You Will Handle

- Manage IT operations across diagnostic centres and ensure systems remain available and functional.
- Manage and support LIS, HIS, HMS, PACS, RIS, EMR/EHR and other healthcare applications used in diagnostic operations.
- Understand integration and data flow between registration, billing, LIS, RIS, PACS and reporting systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, operating systems and other IT hardware.
- Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, connectivity and basic network security.
- Handle user access, system permissions, backups, data security and IT documentation.
- Coordinate with software vendors and service providers for implementation, troubleshooting and support.
- Monitor system downtime and ensure quick resolution of critical IT issues.
- Support centre teams in using healthcare and diagnostic software effectively.
- Maintain IT inventory, hardware records, AMC/service schedules and vendor records.
- Develop basic IT SOPs, preventive maintenance schedules and escalation systems.
- Support management in digitisation, automation and improvement of information flow across centres.

Healthcare / Diagnostic Knowledge – Important The candidate should have prior experience in hospitals, diagnostic centres, healthcare organisations or similar medical environments.





You should understand how diagnostic technology works and have basic operational understanding of:

- LIS – Laboratory Information System
- HIS / HMS – Hospital Information Systems
- RIS – Radiology Information System
- PACS – Picture Archiving & Communication System
- EMR / EHR
- Billing and patient-management systems
- Report-generation and doctor-access systems
- System-to-system integrations and data flow

You should also have a basic understanding of MRI and CT operations, including how these systems connect with PACS/RIS and how IT/network issues can affect image transfer, reporting and workflow.

You are not expected to be an MRI/CT engineer. However, you should understand the technology and workflow well enough to identify IT-related issues, troubleshoot basic problems and coordinate effectively with equipment/software vendors.

What We Are Looking For

- 4–8 years of IT experience, preferably with significant experience in healthcare/diagnostics.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting ability.
- Good knowledge of hardware, software and networking.
- Experience managing IT across multiple locations/centres will be preferred.
- Solid understanding of healthcare IT applications and workflows.
- Good communication and vendor-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of problems.
- Someone who is solution-oriented, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-growing organisation.
