Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer with expertise in test automation, AI-driven quality engineering, and cloud-based testing solutions to support medium to large-scale web applications. The role involves analyzing and reviewing system requirements, collaborating with Development, DevOps, Product, and AI engineering teams, and designing scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.

The ideal candidate will leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI technologies to improve test design, test execution, defect prediction, test data generation, and quality engineering processes. This individual will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing automation frameworks, exploring AI-powered testing solutions, and maximizing automation coverage across microservices-based applications, APIs, and cloud platforms.

The position also requires mentoring team members, performing Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new automation and AI technologies, and driving innovation in software quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead functional and automation testing efforts with a strong focus on achieving high automation coverage (70%+).
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Python, and AI-assisted testing approaches.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud-based solutions.
- Utilize AI/ML-powered testing tools for test case generation, self-healing automation, defect prediction, and test optimization.
- Evaluate and implement Generative AI solutions to improve test productivity and quality engineering efficiency.
- Design and maintain Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, and Hybrid automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, AWS, and Product teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform backend, ETL, API, and microservices testing.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, risk assessment, defect triage, and test execution activities.




- Develop AI-driven test data generation and management strategies.
- Review automation code, test scripts, and frameworks to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct POCs and recommend innovative automation and AI testing tools.
- Mentor team members on automation best practices, AI-assisted testing techniques, and quality engineering methodologies.
- Support UAT activities and provide project-specific testing expertise.
- Provide regular project status updates and quality metrics to management and stakeholders.

Technical Skills / Knowledge Required Automation & QA
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing for medium to large complex web-based applications, preferably in the Healthcare industry.
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid.
- Expertise in Python programming for automation framework development.
- Experience in REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Ability to write custom automation utilities and reusable testing solutions.

AI & Emerging Technologies
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools such as Testim, Functionize, Mabl, Tricentis Tosca AI capabilities, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in Quality Engineering.

- Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ChatGPT Enterprise, or equivalent tools.

Cloud & DevOps
- Experience with AWS fundamentals and cloud testing concepts.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
- Hands-on experience integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or AWS-native tools.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices testing.

Database & Scripting
- Strong SQL skills for backend and ETL testing.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, XML validation, and scripting.
- Experience working with Unix/Linux command-line environments.

- Knowledge of security testing and cloud security concepts.
- Relevant certifications in Automation Testing, AWS Cloud, AI/ML, or Quality Engineering are preferred.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Master's degree or specialized certification in AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, or Quality Engineering is a plus.
