Primary Responsibilities – Inventory & Register Control

- Maintain inventory of engineering tools, inspection instruments, gauges, consumables and other assigned items.
- Maintain accurate stock, issue, return and usage registers.
- Ensure physical inventory matches the register/system records.
- Track items issued to different employees and departments.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and identify replenishment requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for procurement of required items.
- Track damaged, missing, under-repair and replacement items.
- Maintain proper identification, storage and traceability of inventory.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification.
- Maintain calibration, service and maintenance records for measuring instruments and equipment.
- Ensure all inventory-related registers and documents are updated on a daily basis.

Secondary Responsibilities – QC Support The engineer will assist the existing QC team when required.

- Support incoming, in-process and final inspection.
- Assist QC staff with dimensional and visual inspection.
- Check products against drawings, specifications and tolerances.




- Help maintain inspection records and batch/lot traceability.
- Assist with segregation and documentation of rejected or hold material.
- Support calibration activities, ISO documentation and quality audits.

Daily Reporting The engineer will provide a daily update covering:

- Stock received, issued and returned.
- Current inventory shortages.
- Items reaching minimum stock level.
- Pending purchase requirements.
- Missing or damaged items.
- Instruments due for calibration or maintenance.
- Physical stock/register discrepancies.
- Significant pending inventory actions.
- QC activities supported during the day, where applicable.

Any major stock discrepancy, critical item shortage, missing equipment or expired calibration must be reported immediately. The primary responsibility of this position is inventory control, register maintenance and engineering asset management. QC inspection will be a secondary responsibility, primarily supporting the existing Quality Control team.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
