Role & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day inventory of spare parts, batteries, accessories, tools and consumables across hubs, PODs, warehouses and repair locations.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and track inward, outward, transfer and consumption of materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile inventory with ERP/system records.
- Identify and investigate stock variances, shortages, excess and damaged inventory.
- Manage spare parts issued to repair/RMT teams and maintain proper records against individual bikes/VINs.
- Track battery packs, chargers, key fobs and other EV-related assets across different locations.
- Maintain lot-wise and location-wise inventory records and ensure proper asset mapping.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams for inventory replenishment and material requirements.
- Follow up on pending purchase orders, dispatches and critical material requirements.
- Maintain documentation for GRN/inward entries, material issue slips, stock transfers, returns, damaged and rejected materials.
- Forecast inventory requirements based on consumption, fleet size and deployment plans.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and safety stock for critical spare parts.
- Identify potential stock-outs and ensure timely availability of critical materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory MIS covering opening stock,
inward, consumption, closing stock, stock variance, damaged stock and pending requirements.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and cycle counts and ensure adherence to inventory SOPs.
- Coordinate with RMT, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams.
- Escalate critical stock shortages, discrepancies and delayed material supplies.
Preferred candidate profile
- Prior experience in inventory, warehouse, spare parts or material management
- Experience handling automotive / EV / mobility / fleet inventory will be preferred
- Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory management software
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets, including inventory reports and reconciliation
- Understanding of GRN, stock transfers, material issuance, returns and stock reconciliation
- Experience in physical stock audits and cycle counts
- Ability to track and manage multiple inventory locations
- Strong analytical skills for identifying stock variance, consumption trends and stock-outs
- Good coordination skills with Operations, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance and Supply Chain teams
- Strong documentation, follow-up and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
