Interior Fit-Out Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and commercially aware Interior Fit-Out Engineer to manage interior fit-out projects from estimation and planning through execution, handover, and final account.The role involves cost estimation, quantity take-offs, procurement coordination, site supervision, subcontractor management, quality control, client coordination, and project cost monitoring.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.

- Review drawings, specifications, IFC/shop drawings, and tender documents.
- Coordinate procurement, materials, manpower, subcontractors, and site activities.
- Manage civil, joinery, ceilings, flooring, painting, MEP, signage, and other fit-out works.
- Supervise site activities and ensure quality, safety, and compliance with approved drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, costs, variations, and commercial risks.
- Prepare progress valuations, project reports, final accounts, and handover documentation.
- Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities without compromising quality.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering,



or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out contracting.
- Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, restaurant, office, or similar projects.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, construction methods, and site execution.
- Proven experience in estimation, costing, quantity take-offs, and BOQ preparation.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Positive understanding of architectural, interior design, shop, and MEP drawings.
- Experience dealing with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- GCC experience would be an advantage.
- Technical SkillsAutoCAD and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Quantity surveying and estimation.
- Project planning and scheduling.
- MS Project or similar software would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of joinery, flooring, ceilings, partitions, painting, finishes, and associated MEP works.
