The Role

We are hiring an Interior Design Sales Representative / Sales Lead to own our sales function end to end: calling and following up with leads, understanding client requirements, presenting proposals and closing projects.

This is a hands-on, target-driven sales role. You will be on the phone, at client sites and in the studio every week. Candidates with strong team or sales leadership experience will be considered for the Sales Lead position.

What You Will Do

- Call and qualify leads: Call every inbound, referral and marketing lead promptly. Qualify on budget, property type, scope, timeline and decision-maker.
- Understand requirements: Run detailed requirement discussions over the phone, at site and at the studio. Capture room-wise needs, lifestyle, style preferences, budget and possession/handover dates.
- Site visits and measurements: Coordinate site visits with the design team and ensure requirements are documented accurately before design starts.
- Present proposals: Walk clients through layouts, 3D views, material and finish options, BOQ-based quotations, timelines and payment milestones.
- Follow up relentlessly: Maintain a disciplined call and meeting follow-up schedule until every lead is either closed or clearly lost.
- Negotiate and close: Handle objections, negotiate within approved margins, sign the agreement and collect the booking amount.
- Hand over cleanly: Brief the design and execution teams so nothing the client was promised is lost.
- Track and report: Keep the CRM updated and report weekly on calls made, meetings held, proposals sent, conversions and revenue closed.




- Hit targets: Deliver against monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- For Sales Lead candidates: Build and manage a small sales team, set the calling and follow-up process, and own the studio's sales forecast.

What We Are Looking For

- 2 to 5 years of sales experience in interior design, modular furniture, home improvement, real estate or a related premium product. 5+ years with team-handling experience for the Sales Lead role.
- A proven record of closing deals. Be ready to share your numbers: deal values, conversion rate and revenue closed.
- Confidence on the phone and in person: you enjoy calling clients, building rapport and asking for the order.
- Working knowledge of modular and custom furniture, materials, finishes and costing, or the ability to learn it fast.
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture is a strong advantage, but not mandatory for proven sales performers.
- Excellent spoken English; Kannada, Hindi or other regional languages are a plus.
- Comfortable using a CRM, WhatsApp Business and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Own two-wheeler or four-wheeler preferred for site visits within Bengaluru.

Compensation

- Sales Representative: fixed salary of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, based on experience and track record.
- Sales Lead: compensation commensurate with experience and team-handling record.
- Performance incentives on every project closed, paid in addition to the fixed salary.
- A explicit growth path from Sales Representative to Senior Sales Consultant and Sales Lead as the studio expands.
