Job Overview
As an Interior Designer at BILARA GROUP, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing interior design solutions for a wide range of residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with architects, project managers, and clients to create functional, aesthetic, and innovative interior spaces. Your designs will reflect the brand’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and style while ensuring client satisfaction and project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Concept Development: Develop creative and functional interior design concepts for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, considering client needs, budget, and space requirements.
- Space Planning & Layouts: Create efficient and aesthetically pleasing floor plans and spatial layouts, optimizing space usage while maintaining a balance between functionality and design.
- Material Selection & Sourcing: Recommend and select materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and color schemes in line with design concepts and project requirements.
- Client Collaboration:
Liaise with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional needs, and translate these into design proposals and presentations.
- Design Presentations: Prepare and present design concepts, mood boards, 3D renderings, and other visual tools to clients, effectively communicating the design intent.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery. Assist with project management tasks, including timelines, budgets, and procurement of materials.
- Sustainability & Innovation: Integrate sustainable design principles into projects, considering energy efficiency, eco-friendly materials, and responsible design practices.
- On-Site Supervision: Oversee the installation and execution of interior designs on-site, ensuring the quality and accuracy of implementation. Address any issues or modifications required during the construction phase.
- Post-Completion Evaluation: Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure client satisfaction with the completed interior design. Make adjustments or enhancements where necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in interior design, preferably with experience in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, Lumion,, Coohom or Adobe Suite.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color theory.
- Excellent visual, artistic, and creative skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of building codes, spatial planning, and design regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with other professionals such as architects, contractors, and clients.
Desired Skills
- Experience with 3D rendering and visualization tools (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion).
- Familiarity with sustainable design and green building practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of current interior design trends, materials, and innovations.
