We are looking for an experienced and creative Head of Interior Design to lead our Interior Design team and oversee the complete design process from concept development to final project handover.

The candidate will be responsible for design strategy, team management, design quality, client presentations, design approvals, and coordination with Sales, 3D Visualisation, Procurement, and Project Execution teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in residential interiors, modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, space planning, material selection, 3D visualization, and complete home interior projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership

- Lead and manage the complete Interior Design department.
- Establish design standards, processes, and quality benchmarks.
- Review and approve design concepts before client presentation.
- Ensure designs are functional, aesthetically appealing, practical, and within the client's budget.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all interior projects.
- Develop new design concepts, styles, and solutions based on market trends.

Team Management

- Lead Interior Designers, Senior Designers, Junior Designers, 2D Designers, and 3D Visualisers.
- Allocate projects and responsibilities according to team capability and workload.
- Monitor individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular design reviews and team meetings.
- Train and mentor junior and mid-level designers.
- Identify skill gaps and arrange appropriate training.
- Build a productive, creative, and accountable design team.

Client Presentation & Design Approval

- Participate in important client meetings and design presentations.
- Review design proposals before they are presented to clients.
- Guide the team in understanding client requirements and expectations.
- Handle design-related client escalations.
- Ensure timely design approvals and minimize unnecessary revisions.




- Maintain skilled communication with premium and high-value clients.

Interior Design & Planning

Design Quality Control

- Review 2D layouts, furniture plans, elevations, and working drawings.
- Review 3D renders, material selections, colour schemes, lighting, and finishes.
- Ensure designs are technically feasible for execution.
- Identify design errors before production and site execution.
- Coordinate with the Project and Operations teams to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.

Material & Product Knowledge

- Maintain strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, hardware, accessories, and furniture.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Vendors for new materials and product development.
- Evaluate new materials, finishes, and design solutions.
- Ensure material selections meet quality, aesthetic, and budget requirements.

Cross-Department Coordination

- Coordinate closely with:
- Sales Team
- Business Development Team
- Interior Designers
- 2D Designers
- 3D Visualisers
- Procurement Team
- Production Team
- Project Managers
- Installation Teams
- Ensure smooth handover from Sales → Design → Production → Execution.
- Resolve design-related issues during project execution.

Process & Performance Management

- Develop and improve the company's interior design workflow.
- Create standard design processes and checklists.




- Monitor design turnaround time.
- Track project design status and pending approvals.
- Reduce design errors, rework, and unnecessary revisions.
- Maintain design documentation and project records.

Required Skills

Knowledge of project management or CRM software will be an advantage. Experience : 3–12 years of relevant experience in Interior Design, preferably with experience managing a design team.

Candidates with experience in large residential interior companies, modular interior companies, design-and-build firms, or premium interior brands will be preferred.

Qualification

- Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience and a strong portfolio are essential.
