Icu IntensivistRoles & Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive medical care and clinical management to critically ill patients in the ICU.

- Conduct regular patient assessments, ICU rounds, and monitor clinical progress and treatment outcomes.

- Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, sedation, and other critical care interventions.

- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, patient deterioration, and code blue situations.

- Perform and supervise critical care procedures as per clinical requirements and hospital protocols.

- Review and interpret laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic investigations to guide treatment decisions.

- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.

- Communicate patient condition, treatment plans,



and clinical updates effectively with patients’ attendants and families.

- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, procedures, and clinical progress.

- Adhere to ICU protocols, infection-control practices, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies.

- Support quality-improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuous improvement of ICU services.

- Guide and support junior doctors and clinical staff in the management of critically ill patients.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
