About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer specializing in SAP EDI and B2B integrations to join Lonza's dynamic digital and enterprise technology team in Hyderabad, India. This role is pivotal in enabling seamless communication and data exchange across our global operations, ensuring that our supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial processes are interconnected efficiently. As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, supporting, and enhancing SAP EDI and B2B integration solutions that facilitate reliable and secure data flows with our customers, suppliers, and partners.

This position offers an office-first working environment to promote real-time collaboration, with the flexibility to work remotely for up to 20% of your time, supporting a balanced and productive work life. Your expertise will directly contribute to the delivery of life-changing therapies, making a tangible difference in patients' lives worldwide.





Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supporting and developing SAP EDI and B2B integration solutions within a global enterprise setting. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required, or equivalent practical experience. You should have a comprehensive understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and IDoc, along with hands-on experience working with SAP integration technologies and middleware platforms.

Strong analytical skills are essential to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues efficiently. Effective stakeholder management and excellent communication skills are vital to collaborate across diverse teams and external partners. A proactive and collaborative mindset, coupled with a commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and customer-focused delivery, will ensure your success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, support, and optimize SAP EDI and B2B integration solutions to facilitate seamless communication with customers, suppliers, and business partners across various platforms.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, application teams, external vendors, and partners to gather requirements and deliver scalable, robust integration solutions.
- Monitor ongoing EDI transactions, troubleshoot issues promptly, and ensure minimal disruption to operational workflows.
- Support integrations involving SAP and non-SAP systems utilizing established middleware and B2B communication standards.




- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities to maintain a stable, compliant, and efficient integration environment.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and best practices, to support organizational knowledge sharing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing integration efficiency, reliability, and operational excellence.
