Role & responsibilities
Understanding of Injection mold manufacturing process and molding material. (2-plate, 3-plate, hot runner, split/unscrewing)
Mold Design of injection molding parts based on product requirement using CREO software.
Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews, part moldability studies, and mold flow analysis to prevent defects like sink marks or poor flow.
Create detailed 3D assemblies and 2D drawings for core/cavity, electrodes, and BOM (Bill of Materials).
Understanding of plastic materials, mold steel, shrinkage rates, and cooling systems.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: CIPET, Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Tool & Die Making.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in injection mold design.
- Software Proficiency: PTC-Creo, Auto Cad
