Opcito Technologies is seeking an experienced Infrastructure / Network Automation Engineer with robust expertise in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), network automation, routing, and cloud/infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience developing Terraform modules, automating infrastructure deployments through CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting complex BGP, IPSec VPN, routing, and network connectivity issues.

The role involves close collaboration with Infrastructure, Network, Security, Client, and Telco teams to automate deployments, integrate partner services, and ensure reliable and scalable infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5 years of experience in Cloud/Infrastructure/Network Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Experience developing Terraform modules and, preferably, custom providers.

- Strong knowledge of BGP and routing protocols.

- Hands-on experience troubleshooting IPSec VPN issues.

- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and automated infrastructure deployments.

- Strong Linux/Unix and scripting skills.

- Programming/scripting experience in Python, Go, Bash, or similar.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Hands-on experience with KVM, Proxmox or equivalent open-source virtualization platforms and bare metal provisioning

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, NAT, IP forwarding, bridges, bonding, and subnetting

- Practical experience with BGP, static routes, policy-based routing, and IPSec

- Experience with Linux networking tools including iproute2, nftables/iptables, tcpdump, and traceroute.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and custom/internal Terraform providers.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using GitLab CI/CD.





- Work with Telco partners and integrate their services into the client ecosystem.

- Understand and integrate with client products, services, access policies, and APIs.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across Terraform and GitLab pipelines.

- Configure and troubleshoot BGP routing, including BGP sessions, route advertisements, and routing issues.

- Troubleshoot IPSec VPN issues, including IKE negotiation, Phase 1/Phase 2, security associations, routing, and firewall policies.

- Analyze and resolve complex network connectivity and routing problems.
