Summary

Position Summary The Global Technology Services (GTS) organization delivers technology products and services that support Deloitte professionals across the enterprise. Within GTS, the Cloud Operations team helps design, automate, monitor, and manage cloud infrastructure across major cloud service providers to improve consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency. This role supports cloud platform operations and automation efforts across Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and virtual desktop infrastructure environments.

The Infrastructure

Engineer II will work across engineering and support teams to help enable stable, scalable, and automated cloud operations.

Work you'll do

As an Infrastructure Engineer II on the Cloud Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting cloud infrastructure operations, automation, monitoring, and issue resolution across enterprise platforms.

- Support the development, maintenance, and operational administration of cloud-based infrastructure and technology solutions.

- Troubleshoot incidents and service requests across Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and virtual desktop infrastructure environments, including AWS WorkSpaces.

- Assist with automation, configuration management, and deployment activities using cloud-native tools, scripting, and platform services.

- Participate in incident response, operational support, documentation, and Agile team ceremonies to help maintain service continuity and delivery quality.

- Collaborate with cloud platform, development, quality assurance, support, and operations teams to support end-to-end application and infrastructure lifecycle management.

The team The Cloud Operations team is part of Global Technology Services (GTS) and supports Deloitte’s enterprise cloud environment across multiple platforms. The team focuses on infrastructure consistency, automation, monitoring, and operational support to help deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud services. Team members work closely with engineering, development,



and support stakeholders to improve cloud operations and enable efficient service delivery.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a comparable technical field

- 3-6 years of experience in information technology, cloud operations, infrastructure engineering, or systems support

- Experience supporting services across Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Experience with cloud identity, networking, compute, storage, load balancing, policy, or recovery services, including examples such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Simple Storage Service (S3), Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Functions, and Service Accounts

- Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure, including AWS WorkSpaces

- Experience using ServiceNow for incident or request management

- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, alert handling, or production support across cloud environments

Preferred

- Experience with automation or scripting using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, or Python

- Experience with DevOps, configuration management, or continuous integration tools and practices

- Experience working in Agile delivery models such as Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or Extreme Programming (XP)

- Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certification

- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments

- Exposure to application programming interface (API) architecture, API management, MuleSoft, Prisma Cloud, or Epsagon
