Software Engineer, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Infios WMS (formerly Körber) | 4-6 yrs of exp

Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for a WMS engineer to design, build, and enhance core warehouse capabilities such as receiving, putaway, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping. You will work with our client's product, QA, and implementation teams to deliver a reliable, scalable solution for the global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain WMS features across inbound, inventory, fulfillment, and outbound modules
- Build and support integrations with ERP, TMS, automation/MHE, and third-party systems (APIs, messaging, EDI/flat files)
- Translate functional requirements into clear technical designs
- Troubleshoot production issues, including performance and data-integrity problems
- Write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers
- Optimize SQL queries and batch/transaction flows for high-volume operations

Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of software development experience, with 3+ years on a WMS (Infios/Körber, Manhattan,



Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, HighJump, or similar)
- Robust grasp of warehouse processes (wave/order management, inventory control, cycle counting, slotting, etc.)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Experience with REST/SOAP services, message queues, and integration patterns
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Tech Stack
- Languages: Java and/or C#/.NET
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL (PL/SQL or T-SQL)
- Integration: REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, MQ/Kafka, EDI, flat-file interfaces
- Platform and tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure/AWS, Docker
- Practices: Agile/Scrum, unit and integration testing

Good to Have Hands-on experience with Infios/Körber WMS

Exposure to warehouse automation, RF/mobile devices, or WCS/WES integration
