As a Principal Engineer - Automation/Functional Testing at Incedo, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases and scripts to ensure the functionality of software products and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and provide recommendations for improvements to the development team.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Design and develop automation functional testing solutions using tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
- Configure and deploy automation functional testing solutions, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and training materials.
- Foster a cooperative and supportive work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to perform at their best.
Skills Requirements :
- 12 years overall QA experience
- Strong Playwright automation experience
- TypeScript / JavaScript expertise
- Automation framework design experience
- QA automation strategy / transformation experience
- Team leadership / people management
- Client-facing and stakeholder management
- CI/CD and API automation exposure
- Strong communication skills
- Experience owning QA delivery at project / program level
