Role Description The In-house Architect will be responsible for leading architectural design and planning for redevelopment, residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, ensuring alignment with Realta Spaces’ vision and regulatory requirements. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves preparing concept designs, detailed drawings, and construction documentation, as well as coordinating with structural, MEP, and other consultants to integrate design solutions. The architect will conduct site visits, support feasibility assessments, and collaborate closely with internal teams on approvals, compliance, and stakeholder presentations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and refining designs for functionality, safety,



and aesthetics; monitoring design changes; and supporting project management teams in addressing on-ground challenges. The role also includes engaging with society representatives, partners, and vendors to communicate design intent and contribute to efficient project execution.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and preparation of detailed drawings.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, such as coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing timelines, and supporting execution from design to handover.
- Candidates should possess relevant Integration skills, including the ability to integrate structural, MEP, and regulatory requirements into cohesive design solutions.
- Familiarity with Software Development concepts is beneficial for collaborating on or understanding digital tools, BIM workflows, and technology-driven design or project tracking solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution; professional registration/licensure as applicable.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and presentation tools.
- Good knowledge of local building codes, SRA and redevelopment norms, and approval processes in Mumbai/MMR.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site and handle multiple projects

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship.
- 3–5 years of experience in architectural drafting.
- Experience in redevelopment, SRA, residential, and commercial projects will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and municipal submission requirements.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
