Role Description The Import Executive role is a full-time, in office position based in Ahmedabad.

The Import

Executive will manage end-to-end import logistics activities, including coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods. Daily responsibilities include preparing and verifying import documentation, tracking shipments, monitoring clearance status, and maintaining accurate records in company systems. The role involves regular communication with customers to provide shipment updates, handle queries, and resolve issues promptly,



while collaborating with the export and operations teams to maintain smooth workflow.

The Import

Executive will also support adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and service standards, contributing to continuous improvement in logistics processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Import Logistics and Import operations, including documentation, coordination, and compliance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Export processes, with a basic understanding of related logistics and documentation.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Candidates should have good organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with customs regulations, INCOTERMS, and international trade practices is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data entry or ERP/logistics software is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
