- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM and applicable procedure codes.
- Handle ED/FACILITY coding as per established coding guidelines.
- Ensure coding accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Meet defined productivity and quality targets.
- Identify documentation gaps and raise queries when required.

Required Skills:

- 1+ year of relevant ED Facility Medical Coding experience.

Key Responsibilities:





- Review inpatient medical records, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation.
- Assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
- Perform IPDRG/DRG coding based on documentation and coding guidelines.
- Identify CC/MCC conditions, complications, and comorbidities affecting DRG assignment.
- Ensure coding accuracy, compliance, and productivity.
- Support quality audits and resolve coding discrepancies.

Required Skills:

- Relevant experience in IPDRG/Inpatient Medical Coding.
- Solid knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and IPDRG concepts.
- CPC / CIC / CCS certification.
