We are seeking an experienced IBM Mainframe DBA with strong hands-on expertise supporting CA Datacom database environments.

Key Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of IBM mainframe database administration experience
- Strong hands-on experience with CA Datacom/DB and Datacom Multi-User Facility (MUF)
- DB2 experience is a plus
- Database design, administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Datacom utilities, backup/recovery, and database maintenance
- Experience with JCL, z/OS,



TSO/ISPF, and mainframe utilities
- Strong understanding of mainframe storage, batch processing, and system interfaces
- Ability to troubleshoot database performance, availability, and production issues
- Experience supporting application development teams and resolving complex production problems
- Familiarity with Datacom SQL and database migration/conversion activities is desirable
- Strong documentation and communication skills

Ideal candidate: A hands-on senior DBA who can independently support a production CA Datacom workplace on IBM z/OS , troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and work closely with application and infrastructure teams.
