Designation : HR Executive - Logistics and Payroll
Industry : Logistics/ Warehousing/ Transportation
Report to : HR Manager
Location : 2 days Nerul seawood estate and 4 days Uran at their CFS. (Only Mumbai candidates shall apply who are willing to travel)
Job Purpose
Responsible for end-to-end HR operations for logistics and warehouse employees, including driver and staff payroll, attendance, recruitment, employee relations, IR matters, training, recognition and rewards, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify monthly payroll for drivers, warehouse associates and office staff.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, advances, LOP, duty records and trip sheets.
- Handle recruitment, candidate screening, interviews, salary discussions and joining formalities.
- Maintain employee master data, HRMS records, personnel files and onboarding documentation.
- Handle employee grievances, IR issues, disciplinary matters and workplace conflicts.
- Coordinate with Operations on absenteeism, misconduct, employee disputes and disciplinary actions.
- Support warning letters, show-cause notices, domestic enquiry and employee-relations documentation.
- Plan and coordinate driver training on safety, discipline, attendance, company policies and operational procedures.
- Maintain driver training records, attendance, feedback and periodic refresher-training schedules. • Coordinate Drivers/Associates Recognition & Rewards (R&R;), including monthly/quarterly recognition, appreciation and incentive programs.
- Ensure compliance with Minimum Wages, PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity and applicable labour laws.
- Maintain statutory registers and documents for labour inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
- Coordinate with manpower vendors regarding payroll, statutory compliance and employee-related issues.
- Prepare HR MIS covering manpower, attendance, payroll, recruitment, attrition, IR, training, R&R; and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in HR / Business Administration or relevant discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Logistics HR or Industrial Relations.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, HRMS, payroll processing and attendance management.
- Working knowledge of PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages, PT, Bonus, Gratuity and labour compliance.
- Robust employee-handling, communication, training coordination, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
