About the Company

BMC Ferrocast Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturing organization operating in the foundry industry. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Head to lead the complete HR function and support our growing manufacturing operations.

Job Summary The HR Head will be responsible for managing and leading all aspects of Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the foundry. The role requires strong hands-on experience in manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, labour-law compliance, payroll, contract labour management, performance management, and HR operations.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in foundry, manufacturing, automobile, engineering, or other industrial environments and should be comfortable working closely with plant and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:-

- HR Operations

- Lead and manage the complete HR function of the organization.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Manage employee records, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
- Prepare and monitor daily/monthly manpower reports and HR MIS.
- Ensure smooth coordination between HR, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Finance, and Administration departments.

2. Manpower Planning & Recruitment
- Prepare manpower plans based on production and business requirements.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for managerial, supervisory, technical, skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled positions.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower requirements.
- Manage recruitment through job portals, consultants, employee references, campus recruitment, and other sources.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate the complete joining and onboarding process.
- Maintain an adequate workforce across all shifts.

3. Industrial Relations
- Maintain healthy employee-management relations within the plant.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, absenteeism, and workforce-related issues.
- Support management in maintaining workplace discipline.
- Coordinate with workers, supervisors, and department heads to resolve employee-related concerns.




- Handle industrial relations matters and support management during workforce-related situations.

4. Labour Law & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Monitor compliance related to PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour, Factories Act, Payment of Wages, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and documentation.
- Coordinate with labour consultants, government authorities, and statutory agencies whenever required.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and compliance documentation.

5. Contract Labour Management
- Manage contract labour and manpower agencies.
- Verify contractor documentation, attendance, wages, statutory compliance, and manpower deployment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable requirements relating to contract workers.
- Monitor contractor performance and manpower availability.

6. Payroll & Attendance
- Supervise monthly payroll processing.
- Verify attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, and other payroll inputs.
- Ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
- Coordinate with Finance/Accounts regarding payroll and employee payments.
- Monitor absenteeism and attendance trends.

7. Performance Management
- Develop and implement employee performance appraisal systems.
- Coordinate annual/periodic performance reviews.
- Assist department heads in setting employee performance objectives.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

8. Training & Development
- Identify training needs across departments.
- Prepare and implement annual training plans.
- Coordinate technical, safety, behavioural, and skill-development training programs.
- Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.

9. Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Develop employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage employee welfare activities and facilities.
- Organize employee communication and engagement programs.




- Address employee concerns and maintain a positive workplace environment.

10. Factory HR & Administration
- Manage day-to-day HR activities within the foundry/plant.
- Monitor manpower deployment across shifts and production areas.
- Coordinate with Production and Operations teams regarding manpower requirements.
- Support implementation of company rules, policies, safety requirements, and workplace discipline.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.

Required Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial HR and Labour Laws.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, HRMS, and HR MIS.

Experience

8–15 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in:

- Foundry industry
- Manufacturing industry
- Automobile / Auto Component industry
- Engineering industry
- Heavy industrial / production setting

Candidates with hands-on experience in Industrial Relations, contract labour management, manpower planning, recruitment, payroll, and statutory compliance will be preferred.
