Role Description The Housekeeping Attendant role is a full time, on-site position based in Gangtok. The individual in this role will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to established standards. Key tasks include making beds, replenishing linens and amenities, dusting, vacuuming, and ensuring all areas are hygienic, safe, and presentable.

The Housekeeping

Attendant will respond to guest requests, report maintenance issues, and follow all hotel procedures and safety guidelines.



This role also involves working closely with the housekeeping team and other departments to support smooth daily operations and consistent guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally and courteously with guests and team members.
- Candidates should possess organization skills to manage daily cleaning tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain orderly workspaces.
- Candidates should possess laundry skills, including handling linens, operating basic laundry equipment, and following hotel standards for cleanliness.
- Candidates should possess training capabilities or a willingness to learn and follow housekeeping procedures, safety practices, and hotel guidelines.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training may be provided.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods, and attention to detail in cleanliness and presentation.
- Basic understanding of hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in a hotel environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
