About Corbett AnandaVana

Corbett AnandaVana is a boutique nature resort located in the Jim Corbett region of Uttarakhand.

We are looking for a hands-on Resort Operations Manager who can take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day functioning of the property, manage the on-ground team, maintain service standards and ensure that operational issues are resolved quickly.

This is an execution-focused hospitality role for someone who enjoys being present on the floor, interacting with guests, supervising staff and taking ownership of daily resort operations.

Role Overview The Resort Operations Manager will oversee daily hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen coordination, Maintenance, Security, Procurement and Guest Services.

The person will be expected to work closely with management and ensure that instructions, standards and operational systems are implemented correctly across the property.

A key requirement is the ability to build and maintain a reliable hospitality team. Candidates with an existing network for recruiting hotel and resort staff will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Resort Operations

- Take responsibility for smooth day-to-day operations of the resort
- Conduct daily property and room inspections
- Ensure all departments are operationally ready
- Coordinate between Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B;, Kitchen and Maintenance
- Identify operational problems and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain cleanliness, service and property standards

Guest Experience

- Monitor guest arrivals, departures and stay experience
- Personally handle important guests, groups and special requirements
- Resolve complaints professionally and promptly
- Ensure guest requests are properly communicated to concerned departments
- Monitor feedback and help improve guest satisfaction and reviews

Staff Management

- Supervise the on-ground resort team
- Prepare and monitor duty rosters
- Track attendance, punctuality, grooming and discipline
- Conduct daily staff briefings
- Allocate responsibilities and follow up on pending tasks
- Identify weak performance and training requirements
- Maintain a professional and disciplined working environment

Staff Recruitment The ability to source and recruit hospitality staff is an key part of this role.

The candidate should be capable of finding suitable staff for:

- Front Office
- Housekeeping




- F&B; Service
- Kitchen
- Maintenance
- Security
- Other operational positions

Candidates with an existing hospitality recruitment network in Uttarakhand, Delhi NCR, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan or other hotel markets will be preferred.

Front Office and Reservations

- Supervise check-ins and check-outs
- Monitor room allocation and room readiness
- Ensure guest information and booking details are correctly maintained
- Monitor pending guest payments
- Coordinate direct, OTA, group and agent bookings with the reservations/front-office team
- Ensure daily occupancy and booking reports are accurate

Housekeeping

- Conduct random room inspections
- Ensure rooms are properly cleaned and released on time
- Monitor linen, amenities, toiletries and housekeeping stock
- Coordinate laundry requirements
- Ensure common areas remain clean and presentable
- Ensure housekeeping manpower is used efficiently according to occupancy

Food and Beverage

- Supervise restaurant and meal service
- Coordinate guest meal plans with Kitchen and F&B; teams
- Monitor buffet, set-menu and room-service operations
- Ensure food is served on time and presented properly
- Maintain service and hygiene standards
- Support group meals, celebrations and events

Kitchen Coordination

- Coordinate guest counts and meal requirements with the kitchen
- Monitor purchases based on occupancy
- Monitor food wastage
- Ensure kitchen stock is properly controlled
- Coordinate special guest requirements with the Chef
- Support management in controlling food cost

Procurement and Vendors

- Monitor daily purchase requirements
- Coordinate with approved vendors
- Ensure purchases are reasonable and properly documented
- Compare vendor pricing where required
- Ensure bills and GST invoices are collected
- Escalate unusual or unnecessary expenditure to management

Maintenance and Property Upkeep

- Maintain a daily maintenance checklist
- Follow up on electrical, plumbing, AC, geyser, generator, pool and room-related issues
- Coordinate with technicians and vendors
- Ensure guest rooms are not released with known maintenance problems
- Monitor preventive maintenance

Groups and Events

- Coordinate operational requirements for groups, celebrations and events




- Plan room allocations, meals, staffing and common-area arrangements
- Ensure all departments understand event requirements in advance
- Coordinate with external vendors where required

Accounts and Reporting Support

- Ensure bills and expense documents are submitted properly
- Monitor petty cash and operational expenses where assigned
- Track pending guest payments
- Maintain operational expense discipline
- Support management and accounts during monthly closing

Daily Reporting The Resort Operations Manager will be expected to provide clear daily updates covering:
- Occupancy
- Arrivals and departures
- Guest issues
- Room readiness
- Staff attendance
- Maintenance issues
- Purchases required
- Pending payments
- Important operational issues
- Tasks completed and pending

Candidate Requirements

- 4–6 years of relevant hospitality experience
- Experience working in a resort, boutique hotel or leisure property
- Strong understanding of hotel operations
- Experience managing hotel staff
- Strong guest-handling ability
- Good understanding of Front Office, Housekeeping and F&B; operations
- Ability to recruit hospitality staff through professional networks
- Comfortable working in a destination resort environment
- Strong follow-up and reporting discipline
- Ability to handle operational pressure during busy periods
- Willingness to be hands-on rather than desk-based
