:

We are looking for a skilled and self-driven HIL Simulation Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team. You will take ownership of simulation model development, HIL environment setup, and validation workflows — working closely with the GNC and avionics teams to ensure our flight control software is rigorously verified before it ever leaves the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the development, integration, and maintenance of high-fidelity 6DOF simulation models covering aerodynamics, propulsion, actuator dynamics, mass properties, and environmental factors.

Design and execute HIL tests for flight control software verification, including edge cases, fault injection scenarios, and sensor failure modes.

Lead the correlation of simulation models against flight test data; identify and close fidelity gaps through systematic analysis.

Define and implement SIL-to-HIL transition workflows, ensuring simulation environments faithfully replicate hardware timing, I/O, and interface behavior.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression suites to support continuous integration of flight software builds.

Interface with GNC, avionics hardware, and embedded software teams to define test requirements and simulation architecture.

Produce and own technical documentation including simulation architecture diagrams, model validation reports, and test coverage analyses.

Required Skills:

2–3 years of hands-on experience in HIL/SIL simulation or flight dynamics modelling for UAV or aerospace systems.

Proven proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink,

including model-based design and code generation workflows.

Working experience with real-time simulation platforms

Familiarity with avionics communication protocols (CAN, UART, RS422, Ethernet, or similar) and their integration into HIL setups.

Solid grasp of rigid body dynamics, 6DOF equations of motion, coordinate frame transformations, and classical control theory.

Experience with flight test data analysis and model correlation/validation.

Proficiency in Python or C++ for test automation and data processing.

Robust analytical and debugging mindset with a first-principles approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.

Prior experience with flight control software integration and testing on fixed-wing or rotary UAV platforms.

Exposure to sensor simulation (IMU, GPS, airspeed, barometer) and fault injection methodologies.

Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for automated HIL testing.

Experience with fixed-wing UAV programs, including flight test participation.

Why Join Us?

Take on meaningful technical ownership early — your work directly determines whether the aircraft flies safely.

Work alongside experienced GNC and avionics engineers on real flight programs, not just lab benches.

Exposure to the full development lifecycle — from model development and HIL verification through to flight test and post-flight analysis.

A technically demanding environment that will push your skills.
