Head - Internal Audit

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Head of Internal Audit to lead our internal audit function. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the organization's operations. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of governance, risk management, and control processes, capable of fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive, risk-based annual audit plan, ensuring appropriate coverage of financial, operational, and compliance risks.

- Lead and manage the internal audit team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management, to ensure high-quality audit work and professional development.

- Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audit engagements, ensuring adherence to professional standards and methodologies.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance frameworks, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.





- Present audit findings and recommendations to the Audit Committee, Executive Management, and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.

- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and management action plans to ensure identified risks are effectively mitigated.

- Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to continually enhance the internal audit function.

- Foster strong working relationships with senior management, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.

- Advise on new business initiatives, systems implementations, and significant operational changes to ensure appropriate controls are designed and implemented.

- Promote a solid ethical culture and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

- Manage the internal audit budget and resources efficiently.

Must Have
