Role To lead the strategic interface between Hero MotoCorp and the financial community (analysts, institutional investors, and shareholders) to ensure fair valuation and transparent communication of the company & strategy for long-term value creation.
A purpose driven role for youInvestor Relations (IR) Strategy & Execution:
- Equity Story: Craft and articulate HMCL's investment thesis, highlighting growth drivers in the premium segment, EV transition, and global expansion.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for buy-side and sell-side analysts and institutional investors; organize quarterly earnings calls, roadshows, and investor days.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor and report on market trends, competitor performance, and analyst expectations to the Executive Leadership Team.
- Shareholder Analysis: Monitor shareholding patterns and proactively target long-term institutional investors to diversify the shareholder base.
Corporate Governance & Disclosure:
- Annual Reports: Lead the preparation of the Integrated Annual Report and Business Responsibility & Sustainability Report (BRSR), ensuring transparency and compliance.
- ESG Integration: Work with the Sustainability team to communicate HMCL's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance to ESG-focused investors and rating agencies.
Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of specialists in finance, research, fostering a culture of precision and proactive communication.

Academic Qualification & Experience
- Essential: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a Tier-1 institute.
- Preferred: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter holder or specialized certification in Risk Management (e.g., FRM).
- 18 years of total experience for Senior GM (15 for GM) within the Finance, Strategy, or IR function of a large, listed corporate (Automotive or FMCG preferred).
- Minimum 5-7 years in a leadership role specifically handling Investor Relations.
- Proven track-record of interacting with institutional investors and high-profile sell-side analysts.
- Experience in navigating SEBI listing regulations and corporate governance norms in India.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Financial Modeling: Expert-level skills in valuation, financial statement analysis, and capital market dynamics.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of SEBI (LODR) regulations and Integrated Reporting frameworks.
- Industry Domain: Knowledge of the global automotive landscape, EV ecosystems, and macro-economic indicators affecting the two-wheeler industry.
Behavioural Skills
- Strategic Influence: Ability to build credibility and influence with the Board, CFO, and external investment community.
- Exceptional Communication: Mastery in storytelling-taking complex financial and technical data and making it simple and compelling for investors.
- Resilience & Composure: Ability to remain calm and data-driven under intense questioning from analysts or during market downturns.
