The organization is investing aggressively in Industry 4.0, AI-led manufacturing, automation, and connected factory ecosystems to build next-generation manufacturing capabilities.
- Lead the Industry 4.0 roadmap from connected to autonomous manufacturing.
- Drive MES, PLM, IIoT, and ERP integration across plant operations.
- Deploy AI and computer vision solutions for quality and traceability.
- Implement predictive maintenance programs to improve asset reliability.
- Champion robotics and automation initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Define and govern the digital strategy, roadmap, and investment portfolio.
- Enable end-to-end supply chain digitization and real-time operational visibility.
- Build digital capabilities and drive data-led decision-making across plants.
The Successful Applicant
- ~15 years of experience in digital transformation within manufacturing environments.
- Proven in-house manufacturing leadership; consulting-only backgrounds NOT preferred.
- Hands-on expertise in Industry 4.0, MES, PLM, and IIoT deployments.
- Experience delivering AI, Computer Vision, or Robotics solutions on the shop floor.
- Strong background in predictive maintenance, quality systems, and traceability.
- Working knowledge of SAP ERP, supply chain systems, RFID, and logistics platforms.
- Understanding of cloud, edge computing, plant networks, and OT cybersecurity.
- Track record of building ROI-driven digital business cases and influencing senior stakeholders.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Engineering or Computer Science (mandatory).
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Operations or Manufacturing preferred.
- Prior experience in automotive components or OEM manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to smart factory, lights-out manufacturing, and autonomous operations.
- Experience collaborating with global/JV technology partners preferred.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP quality frameworks.
