We are hiring a well groomed, friendly and energetic Guest Relations Executive (GRE) for our café in Gurugram.

The GRE will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming and memorable café experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a pleasing personality and a strong customer service mindset.

The role will also involve upselling, driving repeat visits, promoting special offers and supporting the café team in achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

- Greet and welcome guests warmly and professionally.

- Manage guest seating and ensure smooth guest flow during peak hours.

- Manage reservations and maintain the reservation diary.

- Escort guests to their tables and understand seating preferences.

- Present menus and explain signature dishes, beverages and ongoing offers.

- Proactively recommend dishes, beverages, add ons and desserts to increase average order value.

- Drive upselling and cross selling through engaging conversations with guests.

- Achieve individual and team based sales and upselling targets.

- Maintain guest history and build relationships with regular and VIP customers.

- Handle guest queries, feedback and complaints politely and professionally.

- Encourage repeat visits and communicate upcoming offers, events and promotions.

- Coordinate closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure a smooth guest experience.

- Support the team during busy hours and assist wherever required.

- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the reception / hostess area.

- Actively participate in café promotions, events and customer engagement activities.

- Content creation is an added advantage. Candidates who are comfortable appearing on camera, creating Instagram Reels, stories or basic social media content will be preferred.





- Support the marketing team with basic content ideas, customer interactions and on ground content creation when required.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year experience as a Hostess, GRE, Front Office Executive or similar customer facing role in a café, restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.

- Excellent grooming and communication skills.

- Pleasant, confident and outgoing personality.

- Good telephone etiquette and qualified behaviour.

- Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus.

- Strong customer service and relationship building skills.

- Comfortable with upselling and achieving sales targets.

- Ability to multitask and manage guest flow smoothly during busy periods.

- Good command of English and Hindi. Additional languages are an advantage.

- Interest or experience in Instagram, Reels and content creation will be an added advantage.

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹28,000 per month
