About FitVance
FitVance is building a fitness competition and community platform focused on making fitness more engaging through challenges, rankings, rewards and real-world experiences.
We are looking for a Growth & Community Intern to work directly with the founder and help build FitVance’s early community and presence.
This is an early-stage startup role where you will have the opportunity to suggest ideas, experiment, learn and take ownership of real tasks.
What you’ll do
Growth & Outreach
- Research fitness communities, colleges, gyms, running groups, creators and potential collaborators
- Identify relevant people and organisations for partnerships and outreach
- Reach out through Instagram, LinkedIn, email or WhatsApp using approved communication
- Follow up with interested people and maintain simple outreach trackers
- Help grow FitVance’s early user and community base
Content & Social Media
- Research fitness and social-media trends
- Suggest ideas for posts, Reels, stories and campaigns
- Help plan and maintain a regular social-media presence
- Collect relevant photos, videos, testimonials and community content
- Monitor content performance and help identify what resonates with the audience
Community & Events
- Research local fitness and community opportunities
- Help coordinate FitVance activities and events
- Assist with registrations and participant communication
- Help create engagement and excitement around FitVance activities
- Collect participant feedback and help improve future activities
Founder Collaboration
- Work directly with the founder on growth and community initiatives
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow them through
- Bring new ideas and experiment with different approaches
- Help with other launch-related activities as needed
Good to have
- Basic short-form video editing skills
- Understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content
- Ability to turn raw clips into clean 15–60 second videos
- Basic Canva/design skills
- Creative mindset and strong content ideas
- Interest in fitness, running, sports or wellness
Who we’re looking for
- Creative, curious and willing to experiment
- Comfortable using Instagram and social media
- Good communication skills and comfortable talking to new people
- Organised and good at following up
- Takes initiative and can work independently
- Comfortable with Google Sheets/Docs
- Willing to learn new skills and get things done
Prior experience is not mandatory. Freshers and college students are welcome to apply.
