Help build a heritage Ahmedabad brand for a new generation

"DHARTI Sing tel" is a heritage edible-oil brand from Ahmedabad, with roots going back to before its 1960 trademark registration.

The brand is now being relaunched as a modern, premium consumer business with a direct-to-consumer approach, in-house manufacturing and a strong focus on product quality, customer experience and intelligent growth.

We are looking for someone who wants to do more than manage social-media posts.

You will work directly with the promoter, the fifth generation of the family behind DHARTI, and be closely involved in building the brand from the ground up.

You will see first-hand how decisions around customers, content, pricing, retention, digital marketing and growth are made.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants ownership, learning and the opportunity to help build a consumer brand at an early stage.

Your mission

Your initial objective will be simple:

Help DHARTI acquire its first Ahmedabad customers, understand why they buy, learn why others do not, turn satisfied customers into repeat customers, and convert those learnings into better marketing and growth.

You will be involved across the full customer journey:

Discovery → Conversation → First Purchase → Product Experience → Feedback → Repeat Purchase → Referral

What you will do

- Help acquire DHARTI's first customers across Ahmedabad through digital channels, communities, referrals, local outreach and experiments.
- Manage the brand's day-to-day Instagram and other relevant digital platforms.
- Create and execute Reels, Stories, posts and simple short-form content.
- Identify interesting customer stories, product moments and content opportunities rather than simply filling a content calendar.
- Speak directly with prospective and existing customers over phone and WhatsApp in a qualified and permission-based manner.
- Follow up with customers after purchase to understand their product experience.
- Identify why customers buy, why they do not buy and what prevents them from purchasing again.




- Build relationships with customers and encourage genuine repeat purchases and referrals.
- Maintain a structured customer database and track customer behaviour.
- Help execute WhatsApp and email communication.
- Coordinate small Ahmedabad activations, tastings, residential-community initiatives and other customer-acquisition experiments.
- Track where enquiries and customers originate.
- Monitor basic growth metrics including enquiries, conversion, customer acquisition source, repeat purchase, referrals and customer feedback.
- Work with external agencies, designers, photographers, creators and other specialists when required.
- Help test new ideas and report clearly on what worked, what did not and what we learned.
- Eventually assist with paid digital campaigns once DHARTI is ready to scale them.

This role is NOT This is not a role where success means:
- scheduling posts every day;
- increasing followers without understanding whether they become customers;
- sending unsolicited WhatsApp messages;
- mechanically executing instructions;
- producing monthly reports full of impressions and engagement without business insight.

We want someone who asks: Why did this customer buy?

Why did that customer not buy?

Which content created enquiries?

Which customers came back?

What did customers dislike?

What should we test next?

Who would be a strong fit

You may be a strong fit if you:

- Have approximately 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, D2C, customer engagement, growth marketing or a related area.
- Are confident speaking directly with customers, not only communicating from behind a screen.
- Understand Instagram and short-form content.
- Can shoot or create simple,



credible social content yourself when required.
- Are comfortable with Canva and basic creative tools.
- Can work confidently with spreadsheets and basic marketing data.
- Have strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Speak Gujarati and Hindi comfortably; good English is strongly preferred.
- Are curious about consumer behaviour and genuinely want to understand why people buy.
- Are organised enough to maintain customer records and follow-ups properly.
- Are comfortable working in an entrepreneurial workplace where processes are still being built.
- Take initiative instead of waiting for a daily task list.
- Are Ahmedabad-based and willing to work from the office.

Useful but not essential Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

Shopify, Meta Ads, WhatsApp Business, CRM tools, Google Analytics, email marketing, D2C brands, FMCG, food brands or ecommerce.

We will not judge you simply by the number of posts published or followers gained.

We will look at whether you help DHARTI:

- acquire genuine paying customers;
- understand what drives and prevents purchase;
- improve customer communication;
- generate repeat purchases;
- develop useful customer insights;
- identify winning growth ideas;
- and gradually build a repeatable customer-acquisition system.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
