We are looking for an experienced Government Subsidy & Grants Specialist to manage end-to-end government subsidy, grant and incentive processes for agriculture, farming, warehousing, cold-chain, food processing and allied infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in identifying applicable government schemes, preparing DPRs and financial documents, submitting applications, coordinating with government authorities and financial institutions, and successfully managing subsidy claims until disbursement.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate relevant Central and State Government subsidy, grant and incentive schemes for agriculture and infrastructure projects.
- Work on schemes related to Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF), PMKSY, MIDH, RKVY, NABARD, NHB, MSME, warehousing, cold-chain and other state-specific schemes.
- Prepare and review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), project proposals, financial models, CMA data, subsidy applications and claim documents.
- Manage the complete subsidy lifecycle from scheme identification and application to inspection, approval, claim submission and disbursement.
- Coordinate with government departments, banks, NABARD/NHB, consultants, CAs, engineers, project teams and other stakeholders.
- Handle government queries, documentation requirements, inspections and follow-ups.
- Maintain proper records of applications, approvals, claims, correspondence and supporting documents.
- Monitor application status and ensure timely submission of documents and compliance requirements.
- Prepare regular MIS reports and management updates on applications, approvals, pending cases and subsidy receivables.
- Research recent government schemes and identify potential financial support available for upcoming projects.




- Support the business/project team in assessing the subsidy eligibility and financial viability of proposed projects.

Eligibility

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in government subsidies, grants, incentives or project finance.
- Experience in agriculture, farming, warehousing, cold-chain, food processing, infrastructure or allied sectors preferred.
- Strong understanding of government scheme eligibility, application procedures and approval processes.
- Good knowledge of DPR preparation, financial projections and Excel.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills with government authorities and financial institutions.
- Willingness to travel for government meetings, project visits and inspections as required.
- Graduate in Agriculture, Engineering, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
- MBA / PGDM in Finance, Agri-Business or Project Management will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with hands-on experience in government subsidy consulting, project finance, agriculture infrastructure projects, warehousing/cold-chain projects, NABARD/NHB schemes or government incentive applications will be preferred.
