Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Google Ads Intern at MentorMitra. The intern will assist in creating, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns to reach students and parents effectively. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, setting up ad groups, writing ad copy, monitoring performance metrics, and adjusting bids and targeting to improve campaign outcomes.

The role also involves collaborating with the marketing team on landing pages, tracking conversions, and preparing basic reports on campaign performance. The intern will gain hands-on experience with digital marketing tools while supporting MentorMitra’s mission to provide accessible, data-driven career guidance.

What You'll Do:

Performance Marketing & Google Ads

- Set up, manage, and scale end-to-end Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Meta Ads campaigns.
- Handle precise audience targeting, keyword research, and bid management.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS).

What We're Looking For:

- Hands-on Ad Experience: Proven ability to run and manage Google Ads (campaign setup, keyword targeting, scaling).
- Performance Mindset:



A solid grasp of performance marketing metrics and how to pinpoint the correct audience.
- Data Fluency: Strong analytical abilities (Excel/Google Sheets) to track and optimize performance.
- Strategic Thinker: Someone who can analyze why an ad works (or doesn't), not just execute instructions.
- Passion for EdTech: A genuine interest in education, careers, and student psychology.

Bonus Points If You:

- Hold active Google Ads certifications.
- Have successfully managed ad budgets and can showcase past campaign results.
- Possess basic design or copywriting skills to tweak your own ad creatives.

Qualifications

- Foundational understanding of Google Ads, including keyword research, campaign setup, and basic optimization.
- Interest or coursework in digital marketing, performance marketing, or online advertising.
- Ability to analyze data from dashboards and reports, and draw simple insights from campaign metrics.
- Strong written communication skills for drafting clear, engaging ad copy and basic documentation.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) for tracking and reporting.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Interest in the education and career counseling space; prior exposure to edtech or student-focused initiatives is a plus.

Internship Duration: 6 months

Note: This is a Paid Internship. The first 2 months will be a structured evaluation period, where we closely work together and assess performance, consistency, and ownership. High-performing interns will continue with the team and may be considered for long-term opportunities.
