About Global Shared Services Center, India:

Brink’s Global Shared Services Center (GSS) in Hyderabad is a critical enabler of the company’s global transformation and operating model evolution. The center brings together specialized capabilities across Human Resources, Finance, Technology, and other enterprise functions to deliver integrated, end-to-end services that support global business priorities.

The center is designed to enable standardized processes, scalable service delivery, and stronger cross-functional collaboration. Teams in GSS partner closely with global stakeholders to drive efficiency, improve quality, design and scale next generation services, and deliver consistent outcomes across markets.

Business Unit Description:

This role sits within HR Operations, a team that plays a key role in supporting Brink’s global workforce and advancing enterprise HR priorities.

The function is responsible for delivering efficient, scalable HR services and ensuring consistent execution of core people processes, partnering across global HR, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders to deliver seamless employee experiences and reliable HR operations at scale.

As part of Brink’s global operating model, the team helps drive consistency, efficiency, and service excellence, enabling the business to operate more effectively and support employees across the full lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing (Position Summary):

The Global Payroll Operations Lead is accountable for the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of payroll across multiple countries and regions through the company’s captive, in-house payroll organization. The role leads geographically dispersed internal payroll teams, establishes consistent global operating standards, and coordinates activities across country payroll operations and external payroll providers where applicable. Working across time zones and regulatory environments, this leader partners with HR, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Internal Audit, Technology, and Global Payroll Governance to manage risk, strengthen controls, improve the employee experience, and drive continuous improvement.

The Global Payroll Operations Lead serves as the primary point of accountability for global payroll operations, controls, process consistency, and stakeholder outcomes. The role provides enterprise-wide leadership while ensuring country and regional payroll teams meet local statutory, regulatory,



and operational requirements.

This position operates across multiple regions and requires regular collaboration with geographically dispersed internal teams, business stakeholders, and external payroll providers where applicable. The role must work effectively across time zones and navigate differing regulatory, cultural, and operational environments.

How You’ll Succeed (Roles & Responsibilities):

Success in this role requires both strong execution and the ability to operate effectively in a global, evolving environment. You will:

Global Payroll Operations:

- Lead end-to-end payroll operations across the organization, balancing globally standardized processes and controls with country-specific statutory and operational requirements.
- Establish and oversee global payroll calendars, key performance indicators, controls, and operating standards, ensuring consistent adoption across internal payroll teams and external providers where applicable.
- Monitor payroll quality and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
- Own the global payroll escalation framework and lead the resolution of critical or cross-border issues, coordinating internal country and regional teams, business stakeholders, and external providers to minimize employee and business impact.
- Define and maintain the global payroll operating model, including explicit decision rights, escalation paths, regional accountability, and handoffs among in-country payroll teams, regional payroll teams, centers of excellence, and external providers where applicable.

Compliance & Controls:

- Ensure payroll operations comply with country-specific labor laws, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies while maintaining a consistent global control framework.
- Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness across payroll processes and documentation.
- Partner with internal and external auditors to support payroll audits and compliance reviews.
- Identify and mitigate payroll compliance risks while driving corrective actions when necessary.

Stakeholder Management:

- Partner across regions with HR, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Internal Audit, Technology, and Global Payroll Governance to support payroll accuracy, funding, compliance, controls, and strategic priorities.
- Govern relationships with global and regional payroll vendors and external providers, including performance reviews, service level management, issue escalation, risk oversight, and coordination across countries.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and stakeholders on payroll operations, risk, controls, and issue resolution.

Reporting & Data Management:

- Oversee payroll reconciliations,



reporting activities, and payroll-related financial controls.
- Ensure payroll data accuracy and integrity across payroll systems and interfaces.
- Analyze payroll metrics and trends to drive operational improvements and inform business decisions.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll reporting requirements.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement:

- Lead and develop geographically dispersed payroll teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across cultures, regions, and time zones.
- Establish performance expectations and monitor team productivity, payroll quality, and operational outcomes.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and operational excellence initiatives across payroll operations.
- Support payroll transformation projects, system implementations, and process enhancements.

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in multi-country payroll operations, global in-house payroll leadership, or related payroll management roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading payroll operations across multiple countries and regions, including coordination with internal country teams and third-party payroll providers where applicable.
- Experience working in a global organization with responsibility for coordinating an in-house payroll function across countries, regions, or time zones.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, taxation, and statutory requirements.
