RAM CADDSYS has sold and supported engineering software since 1998, from our headquarters in Chennai. Our geotechnical portfolio in India covers PLAXIS 2D/3D, OPTUM G2/G3 and GEO5.

The role

You'll be the technical contact for geotechnical software users across India. Customers come to you with live project models and tight deadlines, so the job suits an engineer who understands the soil behaviour behind the results.

What you'll do

- Help users debug and interpret their PLAXIS, OPTUM and GEO5 models: soil model selection, staged construction, convergence problems, results checks
- Run product demos and technical webinars for consultants, contractors and universities
- Deliver training courses for customer teams
- Support the sales team with technical evaluations and benchmark models




- Turn the problems you solve into short technical notes for our users

What we're looking for

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering; M.E./M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- Working experience with PLAXIS on real projects (mandatory)
- OPTUM or GEO5 experience is an advantage. We'll train you on the rest.
- Sound grasp of soil mechanics, foundations, retaining structures and slope stability
- Comfortable presenting to engineers and explaining analysis results clearly
- Based in Chennai or willing to relocate
