English Mithra is one of Kerala’s leading language-learning platforms, providing language training to students and professionals across different learning needs.

As part of our expansion into foreign-language education, we are launching German Language and Competitive Exam Preparation Courses and are looking for a passionate and experienced German Language Trainer & Course Developer to join our team.

Role Overview The selected candidate will be responsible not only for conducting German language classes but also for helping English Mithra develop, structure, and establish its German language training program.

The role involves curriculum development, student training, examination preparation, assessments, and continuous improvement of the course.

Key Responsibilities

German Language Training

- Conduct structured and engaging German language classes from beginner to intermediate levels.
- Train students in A1, A2 and B1-level German, depending on course requirements.
- Develop students' skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Teach German grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence formation, and practical communication.
- Conduct interactive activities and conversation practice.

Course Development

- Help English Mithra design and launch its German language courses.
- Develop structured A1, A2 and B1 syllabi.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments,



worksheets, and practice exercises.
- Design a systematic learning pathway for students progressing from beginner to intermediate level.
- Recommend appropriate textbooks, learning resources, and supplementary materials.
- Continuously improve the curriculum based on student performance and feedback.

Competitive & Exam Preparation

- Prepare students for relevant German language proficiency examinations.
- Develop exam-oriented study plans and practice materials.
- Conduct regular mock tests and assessments.
- Provide training in reading, listening, writing, and speaking sections.
- Familiarity with examinations such as Goethe, telc, ÖSD, or other recognized German proficiency examinations will be an advantage.

Student Assessment

- Conduct regular tests and evaluations.
- Monitor individual student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support where required.
- Maintain student performance records.
- Identify areas requiring improvement and adjust training accordingly.

Requirements
- Strong proficiency in German.
- Relevant German language qualification/certification.
- Prior experience as a German Language Trainer, Faculty, Tutor, or Instructor.




- Experience in preparing students for German proficiency examinations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of German grammar and language structure.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to work with students from different learning levels.
- Ability to develop structured course content and learning materials.
- Passion for teaching and student development.

Preferred Qualifications Candidates with experience or certification related to Goethe, telc, ÖSD, or other recognized German language examinations will be preferred.

Experience in developing a German language course or training curriculum will be an added advantage.
